Every year around carnival time the “Faschingsgilde” called the “Schwarze Hand” (black hand) invites to the legendary Gildenabend in St. Gilgen. Your laughing muscles will be hard working when the local and global events will be commented with twinkling eyes.
The so called carnival on stage organised by the Faschingsgarde “Schwarze Hand” transforms St. Gilgen to a stronghold of the carnival time. Hereby the centre, around the Mozartplatz, changes into a madhouse, in which the carnival-fools set the note.
