60 years of fun

In 1955 the Faschingsgarde „Schwarze Hand“ was founded and since then carnival in St. Gilgen has reached a social peak: At the annually Gildenabend local and international events and personalities are delightfully made fun of. A small detail: For traditions sake the emancipation has not been enforced yet. The only men guild will only allow female waitresses at their meetings, which has to pledge secrecy every time.
