By car
Coming from Salzburg, take the A1 motorway to the Thalgau exit, from there it is only 21 km to St. Gilgen. From Vienna, take the A1 motorway to the Mondsee exit - then it's 15 km to us. Follow the signs at the cable car station - the Schwarzenbrunnerstraße leads you directly to the Gasthof zur Post.
Please note that there are restrictions on access to the hotel during the Advent season.
By public transport
From Salzburg main station, bus no. 150 takes you directly to St. Gilgen in around 45 minutes. Your stop: St. Gilgen bus station. From here it is only a 5-minute walk to the hotel - ideal for a stress-free journey.
By aeroplane
The nearest airport is Salzburg Airport. From there you can easily reach St. Gilgen by taxi via Hof and Fuschl. You can reach us in less than an hour and start your time-out.
