When you arrive at the Gasthof zur Post, you are not just entering a hotel,
but a piece of living history - and above all a house with a soul.
Since 1999 we, Katharina and Norbert Leitner, together with a dedicated team, have been running our traditional hotel with great dedication and attention to detail. We have been actively supported by our daughter Anna and her husband Alexander Lagger since 2024.
It is important to us that you feel as much at home with us as we do.
Because for us, hospitality means more than just good service - it's about warmth, personal care and creating a place where you can arrive and simply be.
We look forward to welcoming you here - as a guest who comes to stay and perhaps to return.

A place with history
Our house looks back on a long history:
The oldest walls date back to 1330, and the first beer was served here as early as 1415. As a former post office, the inn has been a meeting place for centuries.
and you can still feel it today.
For all conversions and renovations, we have We have carefully preserved the old and combined it with the new to offer you an unmistakable ambience.
Unique antique pieces in almost all of the rooms and rooms in our hotel are a reminder of the hotel's history
The wine cellar with its original walls from the year xx exudes the authentic charm of past centuries and invites you to linger in a historic ambience.
The artistically crafted wooden ceilings from xxx are a testament to traditional craftsmanship and create a cosy atmosphere with historical flair.
Our tiled stove from xxx is not only an eye-catcher, but also brings cosy warmth - a piece of living history in the middle of the Bürgerstüberl.
Antique paintings and lovingly preserved wooden elements tell the story of our hotel - and turn every stay into a stylish journey through time.
