A celebration and a crown

On the first Sunday of October a very special church highlight takes place: The harvest festival. Every year the association for traditional clothes produce the artistic braided harvest crown to decorate the church. On the colourful decorated table are the field crops, grain, fruits, honey, flour or wine and other farm products produced in St. Gilgen. An additional highlight is also the culinary aspect of the harvest festival in St. Gilgen.
