The local mountain is calling

8,5 million enthusiastic passengers can’t be wrong: The Zwölferhorn cable car, which was opened in 1957 is the most convenient way from St. Gilgen to the mountain station. In about 15 minutes you are at the Zwölferhorn in Salzkammergut, exactly at a height of 1.521 metres, far away from hectic and everyday noise.

Enjoy nature at all times of the year in the idyllic alpine landscape of the Zwölferhorn in St. Gilgen. The alpine mountain huts and the snack stations attract with regional delicacies, including the panoramic view on the top of the Zwölferhorn. Just follow your nose!
